When Worlds Collide

Tomorrow morning our planet-of-honour, Venus, is getting up close and personal to the largest planet in the solar system, Jupiter. To see it all happening, you will need to be up early and you will need a clear view of the eastern horizon but, if you can manage all that, it should be quite spectacular. With a small telepscope you might even pick out the four Galilean moons appearing to orbit Venus!

You can find more information on the BBC website or through your favourite search engine on the InterWeb.

There will be extra kudos if you can attend the Novacon 47 Dead Dog Party AND be up in time to see the show.
